One of the most common questions I receive about the community is “where are the best places to meet up with friends?” Eagle, Idaho has so many incredible places to meet people. Meeting up with friends in Eagle is always easy and a pleasant experience. No matter where you go, you are always greeted with a warm smile and friendly atmosphere. If coffee is not your thing but you like to create your own soda concoction and big cookies, Sodalicious is a sure bet. Sodalicious is located near Eagle High School and depending on time of day, you will find students studying or on Saturdays it seems to be a gathering place for families.
If you are looking for a quick cup of coffee, Eagle River Coffee has you covered with easy parking and walking distance to all downtown locations. Larry, the owner is there most mornings and greets everyone with a smile. Be sure to ask about their specials. It’s in the same shopping center at Rice and Grinkers arcade, an 80’s themed arcade that has all your favorite games to show your kids.
Right in the heart of downtown Eagle, there is even a phenomenal Italian restaurant named DaVinci’s. This quaint historical restaurant was once a local bank in the early chapters of Eagle. Is known best to be a perfect date spot for a night on the town. Whether you are feeling some classic pasta or are dying to branch out and try something a little more authentic, you can’t go wrong with this New York style Italian food. This is a great place to meet up with friends for a double date night to take a break from the rush of daily life.
I must admit my favorite is place to catch up with friends and take clients is an Eagle classic known as Rembrandts. An 1800’s era church turned coffee house that takes you back in history as you walk through the front door with sprawling ceilings, an open feel and a cozy coffee house atmosphere. Pastries are made fresh daily as well as a variety of custom tea and coffee choices. Several new options are coming in as well and of course we do have a couple Starbucks if you just can’t break away from the classics.
With so many different tastes and styles to choose from, deciding where to meet up next should be easy with all these amazing places to grab a bite around town. I hope you enjoy some of these favorites of mine and give it a try sometime! You won’t be sorry!
